How much does Praxio cost?
€59 a month excluding VAT for the practice, first practitioner included, then €25 a month per additional practitioner. Every feature is included and secretaries do not count as practitioners. The details, discounts included, are in the pricing section.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes: ask for a demo practice with sample data through the Request access form.
Does Praxio run on a Mac?
Yes. Praxio is an app for macOS and for Windows, with the eID card reader and the dot-matrix printer built in, and it also runs in a browser. For home visits there is an Android app, and the iPhone and iPad version is on its way. See Download Praxio.
Is Praxio accredited for MyCareNet?
Not yet. Insurability, eAttest, eFact and eAgreement are built and our access requests are filed; until the NIC's accreditation, they go through a simulation labelled as such. The NIC has announced it will not be able to accredit all software before 1 January 2027. Where we stand: eHealth roadmap. What the obligation changes: MyCareNet in 2027.
Do I need an eHealth certificate?
Yes, so that Praxio can use MyCareNet on your behalf. You request it with your eID in the eHealth Certificate Manager application, and it is valid for 36 months. How it works: the physiotherapist's eHealth certificate.
Do I have to read the patient's eID card?
Not for physiotherapists today, according to the NIC. If you want to, the Praxio app for computers reads the eID card and fills in the patient's record.
Does Praxio choose the nomenclature codes?
Yes. Praxio proposes each session's code from the pathological situation, the place and the sessions already given, applies the RIZIV tariff in force on its date and prepares the certificate. You stay in control of every session. The amounts are the RIZIV tariffs.
What if I am not conventioned?
Praxio handles it: you set your own fee, which replaces the convention tariff on your certificates.
Can I bill under third-party payment?
Yes. Praxio prepares the third-party statements per health insurance fund. They go on paper today, and through eFact once the NIC accredits Praxio.
Can my patients book online?
Yes, on your practice's booking page, within your working hours and your appointment types.
Can I bring over the data from my current software?
Yes. The practice owner imports patients, prescribers, prescriptions, appointments and certificates from Excel or CSV files, such as your previous software's export. Columns are recognised automatically and you review every row before confirming.
Where is my data hosted?
In the European Union, with each practice's data kept apart. Every time a record is opened, it is written to an audit log you can read yourself. The details are in our privacy notice.
Can I leave with my data?
Yes. The practice owner can download a full export of patients, sessions and certificates at any time.
